DOS Driving School at Brighton East

History most often throws us a curve ball. Good or bad, we accept what occurred and go on. But some memories do not fade. Brighton East sadly has a sorrowful past. An incident that resulted in a massacre of over 60 indigenous people took place in present-day Hurlingham way back in the 1830s. And today it is a part of Brighton East’s history.

With that story behind us, present-day Brighton East is known as a great suburb to live in. Many families, call this beautiful and peaceful suburb home. With schools such as St. Finbar’s Primary,  Brighton Secondary College, Haileybury College and Gardenvale in close proximity, the conveniences are obvious. Another notable are the parklands. It is also home to the famous and biggest parks in Victoria, Dendy Park.

Considering the above demographics, we see this suburb as a rather busy one, especially during the weekends and holidays.  In addition, peak hour traffic brings in a large number of vehicles to the streets of Brighton East, and this does create significant traffic jams.

At DOS Driving School we thrive in situations like this. Teaching students to be confident and road wise when traffic and roads are at their worst is where our strength lies. Years of experience and professionalism have provided our instructors the expertise to help student drivers navigate through jams like this, whilst keeping a cool head.

Our structured driving lessons provide insights into all areas of learning to drive, we are confident that students will pass the driving test with ease.
