The name Bulleen is taken from a billabong, which was known as Lake Bolin Bolin. This roughly translates to ‘a place of loneliness’ in Aboriginal language. Based on the aboriginal name the name Bulleen was derived and given by an early settler named Frederic Unwin.
The 1980s brought the much-needed residential expansion to the Bulleen area. Schools, sports facilities, and shopping center facilities, became part of the cityscape. Along with the rapid development, Bulleen has seen an influx of vehicular movement.
Driving around in Bulleen can be a tricky deal. Narrow roads, side streets and negotiating around other vehicles can be difficult and intimidating for a learner driver to gather. Our instructors at Bulleen are very familiar with the suburb and offer their expertise to address and rectify issues such as these.
At DOS, we take extra care to study each student’s strengths and weaknesses. Based on these inputs, we provided targeted training to the student, thereby giving them confidence as well as enhancing their driving skills.
With over 18 years of experience in this field, we are proud to have a student base that is highly appreciative of the training they received and finally obtaining their pass at the test.
