Affectionately called "Beacy" by locals, Beaconsfield was originally named after Benjamin Disraeli also called Lord Beaconsfield, the Earl of Beaconsfield. The Beaconsfield Post Office was named officially as the ’Beaconsfield Post Office’ in 1916 and was used as a café for many years until it was demolished in late October 2021. Talk about history that’s been around!
