Pakenham has an interesting history about how it got it’s name. Named after a British Major General, Sir Edward Pakenham who was killed in action while in battle. In 1837 Pakenham is officially named a suburb.
Present-day Pakenham has seen rapid growth, along with many new development projects such as housing, malls and roadways. Along with the developments, Pakenham has also had an influx of visitors and vehicular activity. And this can be challenging for learner drivers in particular. At DOS Driving School our instructors familiarize themselves with the area they operated and Pakenham is no exception when it comes to the demographical and geographical features. From covering the basics of driving and gradually progressing to more advanced driving, our highly experienced instructors provide the students with every possible learning opportunity to enhance the skills and confidence of a learner driver.
